The top dining room has seen some changes over the years, as it was part of the original Hotel it contained the residents lounge and sitting room, each having their own open fire, but things change, and further changes are planned. At present, a range of farmhouse furniture graces the bare wooden floor and pastel wall covering to seat up to 28 people.
The bottom dining room was at one time part of the stables prior to the hotel extension about 180 years ago, and then the room was decorated with timber cladding. When we recently adjoined the two rooms the walls had to be recoated (last decorated some 40 years ago) and redecorated with new lighting and heating to seat up to 34 persons, so now we can cater for parties, christenings etc and with the addition of doors the room can be used for private functions.

and here it is in use by the quiz teams Christmas party
and before the party arrived..
