Walking the trails

The “Tyny” is a convivial place to stay for that weekend away from the pressures of life to enjoy the well renowned trails within the Coed-y-Brenin forest or further a field within the dramatic landscape of Snowdonia National Park.

To start your stay, be welcomed to the recently refurbished bedrooms followed by a hearty meal and quality ales, we like to believe that we are truly walker friendly. Also provided is a room to hang wet gear or if preferred, for a small cost, a wash and dry service can be provided for your clothes.

Whether you are a solo rambler or part of a larger group (we can sleep up to 17 or 19 at a push) you will always be made welcome and be able to meet other walkers to either plan your next trek or commiserate over the mishaps of the previous outing.

Start your day with a hearty breakfast always cooked to order, none of this self service from us, then walk up to the new centre (about 1.5miles) or join some of the trails across the road (about 300metres), even take a packed lunch with you or return for a swift half and a spot of lunch before tackling the other trails, maybe call it a day and settle down for a nice steady session, the time here is yours to please yourself with no restrictions. Finish off your day with a warming bath or shower followed by a hearty homemade steak & ale pie or a 16oz prime welsh beef steak downed with one of our special ales or a bottle quality wines. Then round the evening off with a game of pool or darts or just chat amongst your buddies or new found friends.
